Customers at area McDonald's restaurants can do their part to help the local Ronald McDonald House Charities.
From now through Sunday, customers can donate $1 at the tri-state area restaurants through the Give a Little Love fundraiser.
The money raised will go directly to the Ronald McDonald houses in Charleston and Huntington.
Typically the fundraiser raises approximately $30,000 for each house.
The money helps with the operating costs of the houses.
It costs about $80 per night for each family that stays there.
The houses provide a home for families who need to be with their children during extended hospital stays.
The Ronald McDonald House in Huntington serves about 600 families per year, while the home in Charleston serves about 300 per year.
