Three people charged in connection with a meth lab bust in a hotel were in Cabell county Magistrate court for a preliminary hearing.

Derrick Walker and Jennifer Chapman are charged with attempting to operate a clandestine meth lab after police raided their hotel room at the Day's Inn in Barboursville.

Jeremiah Schuler is charged with conspiracy of making meth.

Both Walker and Schuler waived their right to a preliminary hearing.

Chapman had her case continued until June 5.

All three are in the Western Regional jail.
