Nitro senior pitcher/catcher Korey Dunbar has received the Charleston Daily Mail's Kanawha Valley Baseball Player of the Year.
Dunbar is the sixth Wildcat in the last 10 years to receive this award
Dunbar has been dominant on the mound posting a 0.79 ERA.
He's struck out 86 and walked just 17 batters
Dunbar is even more dangerous in the batters box.
He's gone yard 10 times this year and is batting .462 with 10 doubles.
Dunbar has already received a scholarship from North Carolina, but he's also predicted to be selected in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft next month.
