An accident just before 4 p.m. on Friday shut down one lane of Interstate 64 in Kanawha County.

Emergency dispatchers said that one westbound lane of the interstate at the Dunbar exit was closed to traffic after a semi-truck and a pickup truck collided.

Dispatchers said no one was seriously injured, but workers are cleaning up debris.

Heavy rains and storms created slick conditions on many area roadways on Friday.

Emergency crews urged drivers to be cautious and watch for standing water.
