Another suspicious fire in Huntington, and police are investigating.
Dispatchers say the call came in around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Huntington firefighters responded to a fire on 26th Street between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue.
Firefighters say no one was hurt in the blaze and that the home was abandoned.
One area resident who did not want to be identified said that a few minutes before the fire started they saw a gray van pull up near the residence.
A black male got out of the van with a gas can.
A few minutes later they saw the man again, but this time without the gas can.
"I just think it's a shame you work hard and people have no consideration and destroy their things and the people of Huntington need to pull together and look out for each other," said another resident who also did not want to be identified.
Flames were visible when firefighters arrived on scene, but the fire was eventually brought under control.
