The Huntington Fire Department responded to a call around 6 p.m. on Sunday at River Park Hospital.
Huntington firefighters tells 13News that a motor pump in the basement overheated.
This caused smoke in the building which caused an alarm to go off.
Firefighters were able to shut off the motor.
An employee with the hospital said that no employees or patients were ever in any danger.
