A West Virginia man is on a mission to raise awareness about the Wounded Warrior Project.
Jamie Summerlin has been running 34 miles a day for more than 80 days straight. He's been traveling from one side of the country to the other.
On Sunday, Summerlin stopped in Charleston and threw out the first pitch at the West Virginia Power game. Charleston Mayor Danny Jones also gave Summerlin a key to the city.
"It's been super exciting to be back here to be around my fellow West Virginians. They joined me on my run this morning. It was very, very encouraging," said Summerlin.
He's hoping to run 2,900 miles in 100 days. Summerlin is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
