No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million

Charleston police officers responded to a call of shots fired on the city's west side Monday afternoon. They set up a perimeter around the scene.
Metro 911 dispatchers said the call came in at 2:36 p.m. The caller said he heard five to six shots in the area around Grant and Vine streets.
A resident of the neighborhood said he wasn't sure what was happening at first. He thought someone was letting off fireworks.
Then he said that he saw a car speeding through the intersection, and he realized that it had been gunshots, the resident said. After the car had passed by, he looked around and noticed shells laying on the ground.
There were no reports of injuries. Police are investigating.
