No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
Crews working on the new Main Street bridge in downtown Greenup will restrict boat traffic on the Little Sandy River this week.
Boaters on the Little Sandy River will not be able to travel downstream past the bridge construction site or access the Ohio River between Wednesday June 20 through Friday, June 22.
The boat ramp will remain open and upstream access will not be affected.
The closure is a necessary safety precaution as bridge construction takes place in and around the river.
During the project, pedestrians are cautioned to stay outside work zones, and motorists and boaters should watch for construction vehicles in the area.
