CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

A  man was arrested at the scene of a drive-by shooting on Charleston's West Side Monday, according to investigators.

Cortez Anthony Lacy, 28, of Charleston, was arrested on drug charges, but is not believed to be connected to the shooting, police said.

According to the criminal complaint, Lacy lives at the house that was shot at.

Initial information from the police indicated that the person arrested was a juvenile.

Investigators are looking for an older model gold Chevy Caprice with pink writing on the back, police said.

Witnesses said they saw three men drive up to a house on Vine Street.  The men asked if the owner was home and then they opened fire.

Investigators couldn't confirm why that particular house was targeted.  Neighbors said they heard this fight was all over a separate shooting that happened a few years ago.

Neighbors said they're sick of this senseless violence happening in their community.

"I wish people wouldn't be so rude and ignorant and be men about it, just handle your situation in a different way," said resident Wade Murray.

People want the shootings to stop.

"You've just got people that come through here that don't belong here and they're doing things they shouldn't be doing. They need to take it somewhere else," said resident Brian Sword.

Parents are especially concerned because kids were playing outside when the shooting happened.

"Some people just don't care who's around. When there's kids around, that's our future. That could be your kid or someone else's kid. But, we have to take precautions as a community and we have to come together as a community and get rid of this," Murray said.

Investigators remain tight-lipped about the case and said witnesses are not cooperating with law enforcement.
