The Appalachian Children's Chorus (ACC) will travel to New York City on June 25 to perform in the Rhythms of One World 2012 International Choir Festival. Thirty-four children and their chaperones will leave from the University of Charleston to New York on Monday.

The ACC consists of 5th through 11th graders and will also be representing the United States in the International Festival.

On June 28, the group will join with other choirs for an International Choral performance at Avery Fisher hall at Lincoln Center.
