The party celebrating West Virginia's birthday continued Wednesday night in Charleston.

The headliner for West Virginia Day's concert was "America's Got Talent" winner Landau Eugene Murphy. The Logan native performed at the Clay Center as part of the "Mayor's Concert at FestivAll."

The Frank Sinatra sound-alike was joined by West Virginia jazz pianist, Bob Thompson, and a well-known bluegrass artist, Johnny Staats, along with the West Virginia Strings.

West Virginia turned 149 years old on Wednesday. Events to celebrate the milestone also served as the start of next year's sesquicentennial birthday.
