Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
Chad Schaeffer has been named executive director of the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital, according to a news release from the hospital Wednesday.
Schaeffer has more than 20 years of oncology-related experience and comes to the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center from Atlanta, Georgia, where he has been Chief Executive Officer for Comprehensive Cancer Consulting, LLC. Schaeffer also served on the consulting team that helped plan and develop the Huntington facility that opened in 2006.
Schaeffer specializes in administration of community cancer centers. In his role at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center he will oversee staff, physicians and daily operations.
