On Saturday, June 30th, the Huntington Y will host its first Olympic Day Event at the Kennedy Outdoor Recreation Center from 9 a.m. to noon, according to a press release sent to 13 News.
Events taking place include a 2.5K Walk/Run, as well as a swim event, a soccer shoot off, a softball toss, and a broad jump event.
The event is for people ages 3 years and up. Cost for participants is $5.00, and all participants will receive a free one-day pass to the Kennedy Center outdoor pool, valid the same day as the event.
Participants may register at the Y's May Building or the Kennedy Center. There will also be a morning registration the day of the event at 8 a.m.
