A Kanawha County homicide investigation will be featured on television Sunday, June 24.
Investigation Discovery is featuring the St. Albans homicide of Stacie Ann Smith on its series "Nightmare Next Door" at 9 p.m.
The murder of the 32-year-old single mother in December 2009 shocked the people of St. Albans. Timothy Sutherland was arrested in the days following the murder, charged with first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
The upcoming episode includes interviews with Marlene Hardwick, Smith's mother, members of the St. Albans Police Department, Kanawha County Sheriff's Office and the Kanawha County Prosecutor's Office.
