3 arrested in bust of suspected meth lab in Lincoln County

UPDATE

James Hughes, 39, and Davena Hughes, 36, owners of the residence, along with Larry Miller, 31, were apprehended and charged with operating a clandestine lab, conspiracy, and possession of meth. 

The West Virginia State Police special operations along with the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection were called to the residence for sampling and disposal of the hazardous materials, according to a news release from the State Police.

 


UPDATE

 

Two men and one woman have been arrested in connection with the meth bust outside Alum Creek. 

State Police officials said they found a small amount of meth and meth making materials. 

State Police received a tip from Child Protective Services, which was checking on a child. The bust happened about a half mile from an elementary school. 

While no charges have been filed yet, likely charges include operation of a meth lab and possession of marijuana.
