The Capital City's second oldest house has a new "housekeeper."

Brianne Jackson is the new director of the Craik-Patton House. It's an historic structure that's survived for nearly two centuries.

It was constructed in 1834 by the Rev. James Craik, whose family had close ties to George Washington.

Col. George Smith Patton, grandfather of World War II hero Gen. George Patton, once owned the house.

Jackson knows maintaining a historic home is no small feat, and hopes to preserve the Craik-Patton House for generations to come.
