Water service in one community is getting better but it's not quite there yet.

The city of Kenova says  people who live in the Buffalo Creek area north of Rice Branch should boil their water before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth and washing dishes.

A water main broke four days ago along Buffalo Creek Road near where the road forks and there is concern that the water supply may be contaminated with bacteria.

The line is repaired.

Now, the city is sending the water to the state lab for analysis.
