Kanawha County Board of Education continues investigation of mis - WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

The Kanawha County Board of Education met Thursday behind closed doors to talk more about the investigation into a misuse of taxpayer money.

13News was the first to reveal two maintenance supervisors were resigning after it was learned five air conditioner units worth about $6,000 went missing from a warehouse in Mink Shoals. Some hunting jackets were improperly purchased as well.

The school board president told 13News on Thursday evening that the investigation is still ongoing but he believes there is more information that will be released from the continuing inquiry.
