CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

For people who've had to much to drive at the Blues, Brews and Barbeque, or the Wine and Jazz festival, a local taxi cab company is offering to take you home for free.

C&H Taxi CEO Jeb Corey said their Intoxi-Taxi program is always a huge success at these events, where people might have a little too much to drink.

The free cabs will operate outside of the University of Charleston and give you a free ride home, up to 15 miles.

"It's a way to protect ourselves, protect the community, it's just a great event. We want to help out the city. Providing these free rides, hopefully we save lives," Corey said.

Corey said the best way to get a free cab ride is to call ahead.

The number is 304-344-4902.

The free service is available Friday and Saturday from both events.
