The French Art Colony, regional multi-arts center in Gallipolis, Ohio, will host the annual juried art competition for youth.
The competition is open to youth in grades K-12and is sponsored by the Gallipolis Rotary Club.
All youth entries will be on public display in the Gallipolis City Park on Saturday, July 7, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The award-winners will continue to be on display at the French Art Colony from July 8-29.
Entry in the competition is free.
The works will be divided into 4 age divisions, with each division offering a $20 dollar first prize.
Ribbons and honorable mentions will be awarded as additional prizes.
A $20 dollar Best-of-Show prize will also be awarded.
Contestants may entry up to three pieces.
Both Two-Dimensional and three-dimensional works may be entered.
The works may be dropped off at the French Art Colony Tuesday, June 26 through Saturday, June 30.
