The Tour de PATH Community Bicycle Ride is scheduled for July 7 at Heritage Station in Huntington. The ride will begin at 10 a.m. according to organizers.
The event is designed to raise awareness for bicycling and to raise funds for the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health. Riders should gather at the Heritage Station. Then participants will ride together, exploring the city and learning how to use the PATH for fun, fitness, and travel.
Check-in opens at 9 a.m. Free bike valet parking is available from the end of the tour until 3 p.m. The first 250 participants will receive downtown shopping coupon booklets good for the day of the tour and into the year.
