A company under investigation for burning trees morning, noon and night, now has to stop.

The Charleston Fire Department has revoked the burning permit for Carpenter Reclamation Inc. for burning near where the new Edgewood School is being built on the city's west side.

The company had permission to burn, but not at night, officials said.

The Air Quality Division of the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection also issued a notice of violation against the company.
