No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
A Logan County delegate was taken to jail on a domestic battery charge.
Rupert "Rupie" Phillips, was arrested by State Police Saturday, June 23.
The victim told police that she and Phillips were in a physical altercation over relationship issues, at which point he pushed her and she fell on the floor.
Phillips was elected in 2010 and was the top vote getter in the West Virginia House of Delegates race in the May 2012 primary election.
Phillips appeared before a Logan County magistrate and was released on a personal recognizance bond.
