OAK HILL, W.Va. (AP) — A Fayette County resort says its record-setting zip-line event is official.

ACE Adventure Resort said on its website that Guinness World Records confirmed it broke the record for most zip-liners in an hour on June 3.

The resort sent more than 180 people along a 203-foot cable. That broke the old record of 122 people sent on a rope slide by a German outfitter in the Black Forest in 2010.

ACE marketing director Beth Gill said plans to commemorate the record will be released in July.
