WV Gov. Tomblin will visit grocery stores to discuss food tax reduction

West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will visit two grocery stores in Charleston to talk about the upcoming food tax reduction. Governor Tomblin and local leaders will visit the stores on June 27.

The food tax in West Virginia will be cut down to 1 percent on July 1, 2012 and will be eliminated by July 1, 2013.

Tomblin will be joined with Tammy Borstnar, Executive Director of Capitol Market, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at theCapitol Market.

Tomblin will join Ronnie Cruey, Owner of Grant's Supermarket, and Kevin Davis, District Manager of Grant's Supermarket, at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Grant's Supermarket.
