Milton man charged with wanton endangerment

HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -

A Cabell County man has been charged with wanton endangerment and domestic battery.

According to police reports, Thomas Henry Ashcraft of Milton was waving a rifle in the parking lot of the Rite Aid in Huntington and cursing at a man and woman Wednesday night just before 11 p.m.

The woman apparently had a relationship with Ashcraft, and she told police she and Ashcraft had been arguing.

He hit her in the left cheek and then pointed a rifle at her.

Bond for Ashcraft was set at $35,000.
