
A coal miner was injured late Tuesday night in Wayne County.
The miner's name was not released, but he was working as a roof bolter at the Camp Creek No. 1 Mine's Ben Haley Portal, said Leslie Fitzwater, spokeswoman with the West Virginia Department of Commerce.
The accident happened at about 11:15 p.m., Fitzwater said. Camp Creek No. 1 is an underground mine.
The miner's condition was not available.
