The West Virginia Division of Highways crews announced that they will be testing the load limits of the Silver Memorial Bridge in Point Pleasant.
DOH crews will be on the bridge crossing from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday.
The rolling stops that crews put in place will not cause lane closures, but will cause traffic going through the work zone to be very slow. Crews are asking drivers to be patient and drive carefully during the work hours.
The testing is a part of the rehabilitation plan that is scheduled for the bridge in 2013.
