CHARLESTON, West Virginia -
The Kanawha Charleston Humane Association will host it's annual election Thursday.
Voting will take place at the shelter on Greenbrier Street in Charleston.
Only people who are members of the association are eligible to vote. Anyone can become a member by paying a small fee, but the membership must have been purchased months prior to the election.
The Kanawha Charleston Humane Association is governed by a board made up of 15 members. The group meets monthly.
