A pawn shop in Charleston is selling much more than bikes and video games these days. The owner of Keller's Survival and Pawn keeps a stock of merchandise that's designed to make sure the public is prepared for Doomsday.

Bob Keller said business is increasing as the December deadline approaches at the end of the Mayan calendar. He doesn't believe the world's coming to an end but he does want people to be prepared in case there's a natural disaster. In fact, Keller said people come to his store looking for supplies for a variety of reasons.

"Hyper inflation, or whether it's infrastructure or a terrorist attack or a solar flare, electromagnetic pulse. Those are some of the ones commonly talked about. The whole idea is to ease the hardship of abrupt society change," said Keller.

He sells everything from backpacks and gas masks to weapons.
