Homeland Security, Health Department to address dry weather conditions

CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

Members of the Department of Homeland Security will discuss extreme heat conditions at a news conference Friday.

They will be joined by members of the Kanawha County Ambulance Authority and Kanawha/Charleston Health Department. 

"The heat will mean dangerous conditions for anyone engaging in strenuous conditions," the release stated. 

Members of Homeland Security suggest limiting strenuous activity and keeping hydrated.
