No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
The Governor's Economic Innovation Awards announced its winner Thursday; an organization that has already won the title once before.
East End Main Street won $15,000 that will fund further planning and development for the upcoming East End Bazaar Open-Air Artisan Market located at 1428 Washington St.
EEMS is an area historic preservation and economic revitalization organization.
"We're absolutely thrilled to be recognized at the state level," said Executive Director Ric Cavender.
The group plans to also use the money for installing solar panels and lighting at the site so the bazaar can be properly lit at night.
