It will take a little longer for some power customers to have their service restored, according to an update from Appalachian Power. Here are the latest restoration estimates from the AEP website:

Tuesday night, July 3 - Lincoln County
Wednesday night, July 4 - Wayne, County;
Thursday night July 5 - Jackson, Mason, Mingo counties
Friday night, July 6 -Cabell, McDowell, Mercer, Putnam and Summers counties
Saturday night, July 7 - Boone, Logan and Mingo counties
Sunday night, July 8 - Clay, Kanawha, Fayette, Raleigh and Wyoming counties
Athens, Ohio, area:
Gallipolis: Midnight July 6
Lancaster: Midnight July 7
Marietta: Midnight July 6
Pomeroy: Midnight July 6
Wellston: Midnight July 10
Chillicothe, Ohio, area
Chillicothe: Midnight July 5
Chesapeake: Midnight July 4
Hillsboro: Midnight July 2
Ironton: Midnight July 4
Portsmouth: Midnight July 5
Eastern Kentucky
It may be Friday, July 6, before the last customer is restored to service. Most customers will see their service restored well before that time.
