HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -
Above normal temperatures are believed to have been a contributing factor to a water main break in Huntington. It happened on 8th Avenue around 7:30 Saturday morning.
Crews at the scene from West Virginia American Water said because of the hot temperatures, more people are using water and that put a strain on the pipes in the area causing the water main break.
The water main break was repaired early Saturday afternoon.
