The Kanawha County Emergency Operations Center issued a news release Saturday evening to let residents know there is no need to conserve water.

"Metro 911 and the Emergency Operations Center have received numerous calls from the public concerning information regarding the need to conserve water in Kanawha County," according to EOC Spokeswoman Jennifer Sayre. "Kanawha County officials contacted the water company, and according to West Virginia American Water Company, there is no need to conserve water at this time."
