To help those without power there are several places where you can find relief.
The Tenth Avenue Church of God in Huntington is one of the cooling stations.
People can stop in to watch a movie, grab a bite to eat or just get out of the heat.
The stations are often manned by volunteers and a big help to county officials.
"As the heat ramped up we knew there was going to be a need and people stepped up and its wonderful people are going to do this and assist us," said Mike Davis, Cabell 911 Center Director.
Davis adds that there should be cooling stations available in Cabell County as long as there are power outages in the county.
