Posted: Updated:

Jan Sizemore, President of the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair has confirmed it will go on.

Severe weather, which called off many events over the weekend will not disrupt the fair. After receiving power at Cedar Lakes, the infrastructure will begin to come into place.

The fair runs Thursday, July 5, through Saturday, July 7, from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. each day. Parking is free. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors over 60, $2 for children 6-12, and children under 2 are admitted for free. Groups of 25 or more are admitted for $5 per person, and groups of senior citizens are admitted for $4 per person.

The event includes a fishing derby and chili cook-off. Many fun children's activities are planned for those who are still looking for things to do. Musical acts include the Samples Brothers Band, Jay Humphreys Trio and Sheppard Brothers Band.
