Residents return to Chapmanville Towers - WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

Some seniors and people with disabilities are back in their apartments after being evacuated for a day.

After Friday's storm, the power went out and they lost water service at Chapmanville Towers.

About 14 people had to leave for their safety because of health needs.

They were taken a local school where there was access to air conditioning and food.

They were allowed to return to the building Saturday because both electricity and water have been restored.
