There are thousands of trees on the ground from this past Friday's intense wind storm. Some are on or near power lines which makes them extremely dangerous to touch.
Those trees should only be handled by professionals from your power company. However some trees are laying across driveways and on homes with no power lines involved and are more easily dealt with.
One Charleston man asked our don Hammond for some help and he said let don do it.
Don was armed with a big brand new chain saw that can handle some of the larger trees that have blown down.Don has many years experience with a saw which can be dangerous even if you know what you are doing.
Others may be operating chain saws for the first time so don't forget eye guards and long pants too which could prevent a bad gash if the saw gets a little out of control.
