Verizon Wireless is offering customers a way to recharge their batteries during the continued power outages as a result of the Friday, June 29 storm.
The public is invited to use outlets that have been set up at Verizon wireless stores in the Charleston and Huntington area.
The locations are serving as recharging stations, according to store representatives, but also a way for people to get out of the heat.
There is no cost for the service.
Verizon representatives also reminded customers on Monday that they offer car chargers and portable chargers to keep devices on full power when conventional charging is not available.
