Volunteers are working hard to serve to hot meals to people who have lost their food during the power outages.
The Charleston Area Nutrition site served more than 400 meals to people yesterday.
The site is located at the Tiskelwah Center on the 600 block of Florida St.
They're still going today, but on a limited basis.
A six person staff is working the site. Four of those people don't have power.
And they're cooking up food donated by the public.
"The Standard Food Company is stocking all of our locations back up again," said manager Randy Byrnside. "Semi-trucks were loaded up yesterday evening and we're just waiting to get all the food in, and preparing to the best of our ability what we have on hand to make sure they at least have a good hot meal."
The center says they expect to serve many more today.
