We have some new information on the power outages that continue to plague a quarter of a million homes in our area.

Appalachian Power released some updated dates On when those of you without power can expect to see service restored.

Unfortunately, they are pushing the date back for most counties.

In West Virginia it's estimated that folks in Greenbrier, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Putnam and Summers counties will likely see power by the end of Friday.

It's looking like Saturday for people in Boone, Cabell, Jackson, Lincoln, Logan, Mason, Mingo, and Wayne counties.

And A-E-P says folks in Clay, Kanawha, Fayette, Nicholas, Raleigh, and Wyoming counties should see their power restored by Sunday.
