No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
AEP Ohio reports that as of 9 a.m. today, they have restored power to about 70 percent of the 660,000 customers affected by last Friday's catastrophic storms that blew through the state.
An additional 20,000 customers were left without power by the Sunday evening storm.
They say they will continue to work around the clock through the Fourth of July holiday to restore service to customers as safely and quickly as possible.
Meteorologists continue to show the threat of possible thunderstorms through the end of the week.
Temperatures are predicted to stay in the mid-90s until next week and could reach 100 degrees.
About 197,000 customers remain without power.
In the hardest hit area of Franklin county, the number of customers affected stands at 49,000.
AEP Ohio is making progress to clear up reports of wires down and other hazards across the area.
