American Water has lifted a
precautionary boil water advisory for approximately 275 customers in the
Upper Kanawha Valley PSD area
of Kanawha County.
The advisory was issued Monday
for all West Virginia American Water customers in the Upper Kanawha
Valley PSD area
following a boil water advisory that was issued by the town of Pratt,
which provides the water for this system.
Results of water quality testing have confirmed
that water quality meets drinking
water standards. Therefore, there is no further need to boil water
prior to consumption.
