A man died Wednesday after falling off a jet ski on the Ohio river, according to the Meigs County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened at about 6 p.m. near Syracuse, deputies said.
A family member's boat ran over the man and he died at the scene, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The West Virginia Department of Natural Resource is investigating the accident. The Ohio River is under West Virginia jurisdiction.
