It was another night of sweating it out without power on Thursday as another round of severe weather knocked out electricity again across the region.

In Lincoln County, people are still staying with relatives, seeking out cooling stations, and they are concerned about their food.

For some it's been a week without electricity in the Hamlin area.

Numerous people are still dealing with no electricity or phone service.

By the end of Thursday there was a welcome sight. A truck and crew from Appalachian Power rolled into the town. They're among the thousands of crews working across the region to restore service to residents.
