Independence Day festivities continue in Charleston

Posted: Updated:

In case you missed Fourth of July festivities, the West Virginia branch of the AARP will host a brief fireworks show tonight at Haddad Riverfront Park.

According to a news release from the City of Charleston, Kanawha Boulevard will be closed between Capitol Street and Court Street at 5:30 p.m. this evening for the Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee concert.

The Boulevard will remain closed through Saturday night from Capitol to Clendenin Street as local Shriners host a family fun day on the Boulevard and in Haddad Park tomorrow afternoon and evening.
