Jack Woolwine, former football coach for Capitol High School died Tuesday night after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 61 years old.
Woolwine had worked at Capitol for twenty-two years, since it opened, and served as head football coach for the last nine years of his career. He led his team to the playoffs six of the nine seasons.
He taught in Kanawha County for thirty-eight years.
