Where the PGA goes, so does the media. And the Greenbrier Classic offers one of the most advanced media centers on the PGA tour.

The air-conditioned media tent features free wi-fi, computers, and rooms where reporters can interview athletes and record their pieces.

The staff also feeds the media three meals a day.

Organizers say they wanted to provide a comfortable place where the press could relax after long days of running after golfers.

"We're really excited. It's a great week. We look forward to greeting all the media and telling the story about the Greenbrier Classic and Greenbrier County," said Cara Dense, the executive director of the Greenbrier Convention Visitors' Bureau.

She said the media tent is almost entirely staffed by volunteers and interns from the visitors' bureau.
